I've always loved solving problems so I initially pursued a career in computer science. I studied at Mount Washington Collage and graduated with an Associates of Science degree. After working several years as an electronics technician, I realized that my heart wasn't into that career choice. My greater obsession was to be creative. Being artistic at heart I jumped at every opportunity to get creative, whether that's with a computer, brush, pencil or piano. I enrolled in a computer graphics program at Clark University. After graduating with a Computer Graphics and Prepress Certificate, I obtained a job designing web graphics later that year for a design firm.
The first several years of my graphic design career was spent working in small design companies which was a priceless experience. I'm passionate about design work, so in many ways work rarely feels like a typical job.
